About Us -- Our Mission
Our organization is a nonprofit 501c3 volunteer-only rescue organization. Although we strive to rescue and re-home Alaskan malamutes, wolfdogs, and other Nordic breeds, our main goal is to educate the public regarding the Nordic breed, the wolfdog and their wild cousin, the wolf.
We believe the merry-go-round of unwanted dogs being killed will not stop until people are educated and understand the dogs they have an interest in.
Although we are not breeders, our belief is that breeding should only be carried out to better the specific breed. We do not support volume breeders of ANY breed; there are reputable breeders for any breed of dog. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Check with the national breed club or your local dog club. This includes wolfdogs. Although not an approved AKC breed, there are still reputable, responsible breeders of wolfdogs.
PLEASE examine your motives carefully before choosing to buy a wolfdog or malamute or any breed and bringing them into your home. Research the breed carefully and make absolutely sure you know what you are getting into.
Help Us Help Them
Our organization is funded ONLY donations. We have NO employees -- only volunteers. We have so many many needs, it would probably take a full website just to list them. However, here is a list of just some of the things we need:
Dog Food (ALWAYS)
Dog houses
Straw for bedding
Pine shavings
Crates
Wood to make dog houses and flooring
Fencing and fence posts
Solar powered electric fencing
Cement
ATV to be able to carry injured animals out for vet care
Sponsors for those animals that will probably never find their forever home.
Collars and leashes
Brushes
Generator
And of course --- Volunteers!
Last of the Christmas Valley litter finds home.
Apache, the last of the Christmas Valley litter found his forever home with Katie and Ray. They love him dearly even though he is obtaining a new record in eating shoes.

Lady has been adopted by a wonderful lady and is living the spoiled life!.
Grizzly BearO.K. I was calling him Bubba Dog; he is just so loveable I just can't help it!
Bubba passed away this year. He was dumped at a kill shelter because his owners said he was too old and they wanted a puppy!
Bubba went on to live four more happy years....the last year he spent as the much coddled and spoiled boss of Bob and Jude.
Bubba loved everyone; none of us could believe anyone could throw away such a magnificent creature. He lived the last years of his life in style and dignity.
He will be sorely missed.

2 yr old femaleWe have Kylie listed as a special needs just because she is scared of people right now and needs some patience to come around. She was in a compound where her kennel mates were shot and killed around her. She escaped harm as she was hiding under the dog house. Once you earn her trust, she is happy to settle in your lap for hugs as you can tell by this picture! Kylie is scheduled to be spayed before adoptionADOPTED !!! Yeager 3 yr old male
